After Course Completion

Upon completing the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Applications are processed through the Division of Licensing of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. A hard copy of the license costs $45, and a background check costs $52.75. Once approved, you will receive your Class “D” Temporary Security License, enabling you to work as a licensed security officer in Florida immediately. Applications are typically reviewed within 60–90 days.
